bris boom. The location is on the north side of Government Is­
land extending into the Columbia River.
All proposals must be on the regular blank forms which will be provided to
prospective bidders, and must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's
check drawn on an Oregon bank or bid bond payable to The Port of Port­
land in an amount equal to at least 10 per cent of the total amount bid.
Bidders are required to pre-qualify. Prequalification statements must be re­
ceived at least 10 calendar days prior to the time set for bid opening Appli­
cations for prequalification may be submitted less than 20 calendar days be­
fore bid opening but consideration by the Port cannot be assured.
