JACKSON'S LP MAKES HISTORY Epic records’ artist Michael Jackson, whose LP, O // The Wall, has crossed the four million sales mark in America, has become the first solo recording artist in history to place four singles from the same LP in the nation's Top 10. "She's Out O f M y Life, " the fourth single from O ff The Wall, entered the Top 10 on Billboard and Record World's pop chart the week of June 16. It follows the No. 1 singles, "D o n 't Stop Til You Get Enough." and "Rock With You. " as well as the LP ’s title track. " O ff The Wall. " into the trade journals’ Top 10. Only three previous albums have produced four Top 10 singles: Fleetwood Mac’ s Rumours and the multi-artist sound tracks to the films Saturday Night Fever and Grease. O ff The Wall is the first album by a solo artist to accom plish the feat. As ol June 16, the LP had been on Billboard's Top 100 album chart for 43 weeks, by far the most impressive run by any current Top 100 record - O ff I he Wall charts as high as number five for the week, as it continues its long string o f weeks in the Top 15.
