Sexual exploitation of Black men by Donald Fuller Part I The following article is the first o f I a two part series. Dr. Francis Cress- Welsing, Black psychologist who has developed an important tool/weapon in the struggle to liberate our people, came to Seattle on May 19th this year. Not as many people were ex posed to her lecture as should have been, and that’ s too bad, because her Ito o l/w e ap o n is a theory o f what cany«/ the racist White Supremacy I doctrine to evolve into a pathology I o f myth and practice, has put her at war with that system. As a tool it is I very useful in promoting Black men- |ta i health (reality therapy). As a weapon her theory is developing into a sharp doubled-edged sword o f I reality and truth, and a sheild guard ing against the effects Black self- lh a tre d and the disguises o f the enemies o f Black u n ity and true I liberation. Her message was an ex pansion o f previous discussions with an emphasis on in d iv id u a l ap- I plication o f Black awareness and an I acceptance o f responsibility for the I consequences. In short, you don’ t [have to be anti-white to be at war with White Supremacy and its insti- Itutions to catch hell, just be pro-self | (Black). Her c o n trib u tio n has been to Idevelop the conceptual basis o f her [th e o ry , that people w ith genetic lm e lan in deficiency and its reces- Isive nature (albin o, undarkened, ¡Europeans, “ w hites,” etc ), have [dem onstrated th ro u g h o u t th eir I history o f contact with other people I o f the world, all the characteristic I traits o f an inferiority complex. The I fear, envy and therefore hatred by I whites is a collective, conscious (or [subconscious) understanding that [dark, melanin producing, genetical- lly dominant, people are a majority in [nature, capable o f genetically anni h ila tin g the undarkened (whites) as a eople. This understanding of a threat to white survival, dictated their need [fo r psychological defenses and [irratio n al rationales (such as the [myth of white superiority) for their [systematic and babaric oppression of the "Red Savage,’ ’ “ Black Tide.” [and “ Yellow Peril,” and a system of [interlocking treaties and institutions [o f W hite Supremacy (no m atter [who rules the world, he must be | white). The most important new develop- [ment Dr. Welsing has begun to in- | elude in her use of psychology to ex p la in color confrontations created by [whites, is that Black males have been xpenencing sexual exploitation at |/Ae hands o f white women. At first [this was done because the white man |pimped white women as a tactic to al out the fire of strong Black male [leadership during the sixties, but now [Black men are being used by white [women as pawns in the struggle for [power between white women and |white men. This thesis may get an insecure ¡smirk from some Black men who are [sleep-walking through their op pression with white women, and then there may be some expression o f ¡outrage from Black women when Dr. ¡W’eising advances the corollary, that I these Black men are victims not to he 8 IA I -------------Furnishing Ductile Iron Pipe________ F urnishing W ater M eters 1 unushmg Large Service Meters Furnishing Service Contract for Paging System Furnishing Estimated 600,000 Rounds — — .38 Calibre Practice Ammuni t i o n __ a iA i 10 GILMORE STEEL CORP.
