The company had, in Volume 13 Employment Practices and Decisions, referred to Gates vs. Georgia Pacific as a sex discrimination rather than a race discrimination case. The case was nine years in litigation and includes landmark legal precedents. Mrs. Gates had brought the error to the company's attention, requesting h correction. Classes expaad Portland State University’s Black Stu dies Certificate Program will offer a variety of new classes for winter term. New day classes include one called "Minority Athletes." in which profes sional athletes will appear as guest lecturers. Also offered will be a class in "Management Dynamics" and one in "Black Police Relations." Evening classes will include a "Black Community-Urban Structure" course which will be taught in four segments focusing on politics and criminal justice, urban structures, and health. Black studies classes for winter term start January 4th. and persons need not be enrolled in the certificate program to sign up for classes. Registration will be Tuesday.
