Gregg Favorel, a rich baritone tenor, has much to contribute with his unique gospel style of singing. Lonnie King, alternates throughout a concert between singing and playing his tenor sax. Steve Effinger, former night-club performer sings and plays (piano) many of the songs he has composed. Dan Rice, well known drum mer, having played in groups and choirs with Richard for the past six years, adds richness and quality to each appearance of the group when he plays percussion. Ron Johnson, Bass player, always makes his contribution musically to bring things together in unusual rhythms. Put them all together and they comprise a group called “Share” and they do just that. The concert is a benefit for Prison Ministries, Inc., directed by Reverend John Parker, Meeting at Harney Center Helen F. Skidmore. John Garlington is pastor of Marañadla. “Share” is the name adopted by a group of young musicians and singers which discribes adequately what they wish to relate when they minister. Richard Probasco, leader of the group, is well known in the Portland area as well as throughout the Northwest and various states across the nation. He recently formed the group which already has managed to keep a rather busy schedule. Having been a leader of choirs and groups for the last fifteen years, Richard feels very much at home behind a michrophone and piano keyboard.
