throughout the nation; what
is happening with the latest

here in Portland.
Y-SOL is a small current
radio station located in the
heart of the Albina com

strictly R & B. Jazz. Gospel,
and all related music in the
R & B category. We offer
the only complete Soul Music
radio in the state of Oregon,
and we want you to be part
of it. In the upcoming weeks
we will let you know what is
happening with Y-Sol radio:
our record contests, benefits,
the Y-Sol Top Soul 20, and
many more other things deal

It is important to know
that we are a youth pro
gram, with our primary staff
made up of youth in high
school, college, and youth
adults from the Model Cities
community. We have only
one full time position, plus 4
part time positions. The rest
of our staff is composed of
student volunteers. N.Y.C.
workers, and participants in
the C.E.P. program. All the
persons in our program re
ceive training and actual ex

broadcasting: from D.J.'s to
advertising, production and
all related area's of radio
work. We at Y-SOL radio
work and think as a team. It
is our thought that this col

our ideas and thoughts of
what Y SOL feels is hap

Portland. You as the people
must also feel that Y-SOL
radio is your station, for
without you we cannot exist.
So next week stay tuned
for the Y SOL "Music Flow"

you want to see the station
