Dr. Toote was president of Toote Town Publishing, Inc. and in the private practice of law in her native New York City. From 1966 to 1970 she was president of Town Sound Recording Studios, Inc. Dr. Toote is a former aide to New York Governor Nelson Rockefeller. Dr. Toote worked with several prestigious law firms in New York, and is a former member of the editorial staff in the National Affairs Sec tion at TIME Magazine.
