Western Airlines has com pieted production of a 25 minute color sound 16mm travel film titled “Holiday in Acapulco”. The film high lights two prominent Black group tour movements to the Mexican resort. The groups involved are Golden State Mutual Life In surance Company of Los Angeles' S ev en th Annual Leaders Roundtable sales in c e n tiv e tour, an d W est Adams Community Hospital's Gold Tour and F un -0 Rama Form er Dodger pitching ace Don Newcombe and ex Green Bay Packers All Pro W illie Davis, co-hosted the latter movement. The Acapulco Hilton Hotel was headquarters for the insurance company's 184 dele gates and families, while the Acapulco Princess hosted the 05 member hospital group. Western Airlines was the principal carrier for both tours. An all Black camera crew headed by Howard Morehead, fo rm e r Ebony M ag azin e, movie and K T L A -T V camera man spent two weeks in Acapulco shooting the film. Ralph Cushm an, v e te ra n Hollywood technician is film editor. Larry McCormick, K T L A newsman, does a not able job as narrator.
