Bishop Adama d e m o n straled strong leadership as president and later as chair man of the Board of Trus tees of Paul Quinn College in Waco, Texas. W hile serv ing at Paul Quinn College. Bishop Adama successfully met the challenge of reor g a n i x i n g the institution's Board of Trustees to include and tap the resources and George Hawkins, who is a minister and evangelist, has a second profession portrait and sign painting. Church. Lynn, Massachusetts; First A .M .E. Church. Seattle Washington, and Greater A .M .E . Church, I xm Angeles, California. Bishop Adams also served as a professor at Wilberforce University i n Wilberforce, Ohio, and he is currently presiding as bishop of the Tenth Episcopal District of the African Episcopal Church ITrxas area). Hawkins attended Bay Ridge Christian College in Kennelton, Texas, where he earned a Bachelor of Theology degree.
