God inspired the mind ofE d- ison to invent the e lectric bulb. Stubblefield in Kentucky, M arconi in Italy invented the radio as a spin-off from Edi son’ s invention. Lee De F o r est and others contrived a new creation, lelevision, with in spiration from God. These were invented p rim a rily to do the work of God in the world, but men quickly perverted ra dio and television fo r enter- tamment and pleasure. These inventions also are utilized to some small degree to teach science, language and other educational sub jects. Television has cast off the moorings of man’ s imagi nation as nothing else in the w orld’ s history has done. Television provides us with instant replays of decisive plays in great sports events seen by m illio n s. More m il lions of people in all parts of the world saw via television the fir s t man to step out onto the moon than had seen any one man-made event in the history of the w orld.
