The Rambling Reporter Unless the public overwhelm ingly rejects the proposal, post office box rent will be hiked 20 per cent Nov. 1. Under federal regulations, the postal system must take public comment on the proposal during the next 30 days before putting new prices into effect. The hike would bring in mere than $8 million to the post office and is the first hike in box rental fees since 1958. How about getting with your postmaster and seeing what the local reaction is. Has notices of the hike been pat in all boxes? kJ The Army Reserve is going c o e d . How about getting with your local armory and see if they have orders to start re cruiting women. What about summer camp? Will the gals go along? Will they share tents or be placed in area motels? What type jobs will the women per form? Will men with desk jobs resent being replaced by women? What about rest rooms facilities? Will the rest room have a flip sign so when a woman enters It can be flipped to women and vice versa?
