A HOME-RUN OF JOY Afternoons at 2, Evenings at ? and 9 U if m i ii ni CHAT NO. 6. Just as I expected the Opening Day went over big. People are wild to get out of town, and our opening gave them an opportunity to respect the call of the outdoors. Chatter of the mon keys greeted the glee of the kiddies and an old acquaintanceship was renewed. The Miniature Railway was busy. Giggles were predominant at Hilar ity Hall. The Chutes got its share. The Mystic River wasn't idle. The Whip worked overtime. Everybody came with a purpose Borne to skate some to look on some to promenade. It was a very satisfied crowd and they went away happy. Today we expect an even larger crowd. Take a car at First and Alder. The fare is only six cents. Another Chat tomorrow. JOHN F. CORD RAY. P. S. The Elks are coming May 21. Big day!
