TIIE MORMXG OREGOXUX, TUESDAY, APRITv 2T, 1920 DAHO COHTIll TO OPEN TOMORROW; Superior Record Service REDUCED PRICES ON Republican Delegates Are On Way to Coeur d'AIene. SOME LEADERS FOR BORAH Representatives From Southern Yart of State Expected to De clare Against. Pledging. BOISE, Idaho, April 26. Idaho re publicans from all parts of eastern, southern and western Idaho tonight were en route to Coeur d'AIene to attend the state convention, which will register the Bentiment of the party for presidential nominee. The special train carrying 200 delegates passed through Nampa tonight for the panhandle. On it were prominent party leaders, including Governor Davis, State Chairman. Thomas, Na ' tional Committeeman Hart, Lieuten ant Governor Moore, Attorney-General Patch and others. The action that delegates from the southern part of this state will take at the convention Wednesday probably will be decided on while the special is en route. Few of the delegates are instructed. They will likely declare for .an un instructed Btate delegation, headed ty Senator Borah. The Wood man agers are still in hopes that they can get Wood instructions, or if not, men on the delegation favorable to his candidacy. Leaders are inclined to ward a delegation not only headed by Senator Borah but favorable to .him. DELEGATES REACH SPOKAXE Borah's Stand for Johnson, May Cause Trouble at Conventon. SPOKAXE, Wash., April 26. Re publicans of Idaho are beginning to gather In Spokane for state conven tion which meets in Couer d'AIene Wednesday morning. The delegation from southern Idaho will arrive, at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow. This convention will elect eight delegates to the national republican convention. It is understood that Senator William E. Borah will not be able to attend the state convention but his friends expect to control it for him. This makes an interesting situa tion, for Idaho is a state in wliich there is, not much Johnson sentiment, yet Senator Borah desires the" state's votes cast for Senator Johnson. Ida ho's sentiment appears to be divided between General Vood and Herbert Hoover and there are Wood men, and perhaps Hoover men. who will aspire to be delegates to the national convention. If you must have your meat every day, eat it, but fjush your kidneys with salts occasionally, save a noted authority who tells us that ''meat form uric acid which almost par alyzes the kidneys in their efforts to expel it from the' blood. They -become sluggish and weaken, then you suffer with a dull misery in the kid ney region, sharp pains in the back or eick headache, dizziness, your stom ach sours, tongue is coated and when the weather is bad you have 'rheu matic twing-es. The urine gets cloudy, full of eediment, the channels often get sore and irritated, obliging you to seek relief two or three times dur ing the night. To neutralise these irritating aoids, to cleanse the kidneys and flush off the body's urinous waste get four ounces of Jad Salts from any phar macy here; take a tablespoonf ul in a glass of water before breakfast for a few days and your kidneys will then act fine. This famous salts is made from the acid of grapes and lemon juice, combined with lithia, and has been used for generations to flush and stimulate sluggish kidneys, also to neutralize the acids in urine, so it no longer irritates, thus ending blad der weakness. Jad Salts is inexpensive, cannot In jure, and makes a delightful efferX vesccnt lithia-water drink. Adv. Indorsement of three measures of an educational aid nature, which will be before the people for referendum vote at the primary election, was given by the members' forum of the Portland Chamber of Commerce at its regular luncheon yesterday, the main portion of the programme being given over to a discussion of the measures. The three measures so indorsed were the state elementary school tax fund act, the higher- educational tax act and the blind school tax measure. Particular time was given on the programme to a discussion of the measure for establishing schools for the blind, and a'number of men who are now attending the school for the adult blfnd in this city demonstrated the work they are learning at the school. J. V. Myers, blind principal of the school, explained the need for additional schools throughout the Htnte to enable the 500 or more blind men and women to fit themselves to earn livelihoods. " . T. H. Edwards spoke briefly on be half of the so-called "progressive" ticket in the election for seven direct ors of the Portland Chamber of Com merce which is now In progress. The method of nominating by a commit tee and expecting the' vote of the chamber to be unanimous for the men selected, without opposition being in the field, is undemocratic, he de clared.' He further charged that the "regular" ticket is not as representa tive of Portland's varied interests andt industries as the "progressive" ticket. Election of the "regulars" would place four bankers, on the board, he said. and would leave the board without sufficient representation aiong the lines of shipping, property develop ment and wool. hair dress, no excessive use of cos roetics, closer attention to personal details such as cleanliness, tidiness, posture.
