In order to attain the height of efficiency in the art of cooking we have
installed the most modern equipment operated by steam from the
system of the NORTHWESTERN ELECTRIC COMPANY. This con
nection enables us to dispense with the ordinary steam boiler and its
attendant smoke and dust, thus increasing: the cleanliness of our establishment.
We are the first restaurant in the central district of the city to equip with
electrical apparatus adapted to operation with alternating current, which system
has just been installed by the above mentioned company in the business district of
Portland.
