Abraham Lincoln The world pays honor to Abraham Lincoln the great American: From obscure surroundinjrs and with meager circumstances Abraham Lincoln rose from the "back woods" from the frontier into the presidency of the country. Lincoln's thrift, his perseverance, his devotion to the work in hand gave him an understanding of big problems which stands unparalleled in 'the nation's history. I In looked beyond the bounds of the present, he looked beyond Abraham Lincoln himself. He taw the cause before he saw himself the exponent of that cause, but, when he once saw his duty he did it without hesitation and without the idea of personal benefits. Today we pay honor to Abraham Lincoln an Americnn through whose veins coursed the blood of America in the essence an American whose life stands as a great ex ample. ' MORRIS BROTHERS, Inc.
