Strawberries, onions, old apples, old potatoes, peas and asparagus are de clining in volume rapidly. The season Is evidently one or two weeks earlier than last year, both East and West, and accordingly in. various snipping sections are passing their greatest shipping activity at earlier dates. Total movements ot fruits and vege tables were 9948 cars, compsred with 7959 last week. The price trends In general were stronger throughout the week, but declined during the last few days. New shipping sections are opening and total movement continues to gain In volume. The Southern producing regions are approaching the end of their seasons, while Virginia, North Caro lina and Arkansas are becoming active. South Carolina, Texas and Louisiana are still shipping quite freely. Total movement of new potatoes was 418S cars compared with 2651 last week, far ex ceeding the heavy movement, 283 cars, of the corresponding week last year. Total volume of old and new stock was 4805 cars for this week. Shipment of new potatoes for the corresponding week 1910 vert about 2300 cars.
