TAX DUE IS URGE MORE THAN 91,500,000 TO BE PAID TO 18 OREGON COCNTIES. State Tax Commissioner Galloway Has Completed Statement Showlna: What Each County Will Receive. BAUETM, Or., Sept. 2S. (Special.) Etate Tax Commissioner Galloway has completed a statement of the taxes, penalties and interest due to the 18 counties of the state in which are sit uated Oregon & California arrant lands. These taxes, penalties and interest will be paid within a month, according to word received here. A few discrepancies exist in the list, but they represent minor amounts only and will be straightened out when the payments are made. The payments are to be made up to June 9, 11116, by the Federal Government, as agreed under a stipulation between the Government and the District Attorneys of the sev eral counties. The taxes for the counties In Oregon amount to 1, 344, 893. 45 and the penal ties and Interest to $234,213.14, or a total of $1,579. 106.59.
