Smartest Styles for All Occasions
wTt HE vogue of the one-piece dress is phenomenal. It's
to be worn for street, for house or afternoon wear
and for business. Designed along lines that are decid
edly new, smart and youthful, the pleated styles for
misses and small women being especially new and un
usual. All serge frocks and combinations of serge and satin
are, perhaps, the best liked, the materials being adapted
to particularly effective designing.
' EMBROIDERED TRIMMING OF WOOL AND
METAL OR SILK STITCHERY IS THE MODE
most used when any trimming appears. Strictly one-color, tailored
and semi-tailored models abound. One charming style shows the
pleated Norfolk effect, with semi-belt. Others are pleated from
yoke to hem in the long, straight empire effect. There are tunic
and plain circular skirts, with loose, semi-fitted or the new basque
like bodices outlining the figure.
We have hundreds of charming new Fall dresses, arid every
day's express brings more. You're bound to find here the dress
best suited to your needs priced most moderately SI 2. 50 to
65.00. Apparel Shop, Fourth Floor.

Boys "Samson" Suits
rag; $e.5o
The "Samson" label in a suit is "clothes insur
ance." This is surely THE suit that can stand the
"hard knocks" from Jack, Tom or Bill, while going
to school. Each suit has two. full-lined knickers,
which practically gives each boy two suits. All the
snappy models, including the "Pinch Back." Good
woolens are used, such as cassimeres, cheviots,
worsteds and tweeds. Colors are brown, tan. light
and dark gray and green mixtures. All sizes, 6 to
