A trough-shaped depression extends from British Columbia south through California to Mexico. A moderate low-pressure area is passing to sea down the St. Lawrence Valley and the barometer is relatively high over the Dakota. Showers and thunder storms have occurred at scattered places In the Plains states and in Oregon and Southwestern Idaho. In the two latter states the rainfall attending the thunder storms was very light at our reporting sta tions. It Is cooler In the Southern Rocky Mountain states, while elsewhere In the United States the changes In temperature have been small and unimportant. The conditions are favorable for showers and thunder storms Monday In Oregon and Southwestern Idaho, with lower tempera tures. In the remaining portion of Idaho and in Washington cloudiness will Increase, without rain within the next 24 hours. FORECASTS.
