Lowe, of Ashland, who will have charge of col lecting a comprehensive exhibit show ing the varied products of the Ashland section. Not only will an excellent collection of agricultural and horticultural ex hibits be sent by Ashland, but the club plans to send along a representative to explain the collection of products to Inquirers and answer questions made concerning It. An effort will be made to unite the wnoie itosns xwTer uoj in one big showing, so that the maxi mum benefit may be realized by that section of Oregon. In his efforts to stimulate the corn growing Industry of the Northwest, C. L. Smith, agriculturist for the O.-W. B, & N. Company, has exhausted the visi ble supply of acclimated seed corn in this part of the country and still has many applications from ambitious farmers unfilled. Mr. Smith has toured Oregon, Wash ington and Idaho in his search for suit able seed corn. Last week he secured the last lot in the territory and this now has beea distributed. More than tOO applicants probably will be disap pointed unless ho can secure more corn.
