Portrait ot Archbishop Christie Is Most Creditable "Work. The exhibition of miniatures and oil paintings by Miss Lillie V. O'Ryan, which closed at the Hotel Porjland last eight, attracted widespread atten tion, not only from ttiose, the like nesses of whose friends were on the walls, but from all lovers of art. Port land. It Is admitted, has been making much more rapid strides in an artis tic way of late, while the work of Miss O'Ryan is admittedly in the front rank of any shown here by artists on the Coast.
