TALK ADVERTISING PLANS
Big Magazines to Be Patronized
Still Further by Commercial Club
In Expenditure of Large
Fund at Disposal..
Plans for advertising Portland widely
during the coming year were mapped out
yesterday afternoon at the Commercial
Club, when the special committee of 12
met to discuss plans for carrying on the
publicity work. With the big adver
tising fund which is at the disposal of
the booster committee, methods of spend
ing it to the best advantage are being
considered. It was decided to patronize
still further the big magazines, for the
members of the committee believe this
will bring better results than any other
plan.
