cluded in the last few days by C. K.
Henry 6n. One Is the quarter at the
southwest corner of Seventeenth and lrv
lnir. formerly owned by Casper Kohner,
bought by an Kastern Oregon Investor.
The other Is lflOxIW at York and Black -stone,
boucht by Zan Errs, as a site for
their new factory and warehouse. Kach
of these pieces chanced hands at about
George I. Schalk also reports th sale
of the quarter block at the southeast
corner of Fourteenth and Flanders from
F. E. Perrlne to a local man for J2h,ow).
There are three dwelllnKS on the piece,
but It Is announced that the new owner
Intends to erect a modern dwelling on the
site. The same broker sold louxlOO on
the southwest corner of Jxivejoy and
Twenty-second streets to a non-resident
for $24,009. The quarter belonscd to
Louis Rosenblatt and Jesse Douglas.
Calvin Heillg has closed a deal with
A. M. Menefee for a residence site on
Portland Heights, at the corner of Car
ter avenue and Twentieth street. It Is
the purchaser's Intention to erect a bung
alow on the. property the coming Summer.
A tract, of which this is a part. 175x100.
waa bought by Sir. Jlf.nefee. two years
ago from D. E. Keascy. for $1500. The
sale Illustrates the rapid advance in
values on the Heights.
