It was gotten to gether and arranged with fine taste by Mrs B. Lee Paget. Sirs. Heltkemper. Mrs. Julius Erotje and Mrs. John Risley. and is a most credible display. The largest Individual display is from the farm of 8. C Britten, of ileldrum. which was arranged by O. E. Frytag, manager of the farm. It includes fine vegetables and fruits. There is excellent snowing of apples and grapes, although the latter display Is limited. Richard Scott shows fine oats, corn, alfalfa and other grains. In cooking and domestic art there Is an excellent showing. Mil waukee Woolen Mills makes a fine display of carded wool. C. W. Bryant, of Oswego; C. Milam, of Portland: Mrs. B. Lee Paget, of Oak Grove, and Mrs. C. Milam were Judges and made awards. Last night the Oak Grove Improvement Association furnished the entertainment An address was delivered by Judge E. C. Bronaugh. of Portland, and there was a musical programme. There will be a bar becue today. An ox la being roasted on the ground. It Is announced that ad dresses will be delivered this afternoon by State Superintendent J. H. Ackerman and Senator C. W. Fulton. The Grange Is furnishing refreshments. WILL BRING FilME STEEDS Frank Alley Will Take Part In Horse Show. Judge Frank Alley, who Is officiating at the Country Club races this week, has announced his Intention of bringing his fine string of standard-bred horses to Portland for exhibition In the Hunt Club Horse Show. While the show horses have not been selected from his stables, the fact that his string contains some of the best-bred horses in the country Is an as surance that only very choice animala will be put Into the ring. Mr. Alley is a great enthusiast on the subject of well bred horses, and Is doing much to encour sge fancy breeding in Oregon and the en tire Northwest. Chase and Ambrose Cronin will participate. Much Is also to be done In the. way of decorating the building, gay colors and electric lights to be used with great prodigality.
