With IT inches of water In her hold and leaJvhiff at th rat of seven Inches an hour, the steam schooner Aurelio, Captain Weber In command, came Into port this morn In, after a perilous voyagv down th coast from Astoria, where she suffered the mishap that made the voyage one of constant vigilance by the crew to keep her from waterlogging. The steamer St. Helens, which was in collision with the Aurella tn Astoria har lor and open! her hold to the waters, stood by all the way down th coast to lend assistance in case tb struggle aboard the leaking steamer proved a losing on or rough weather endangered the lives of the crew. TWO STKAMSH I PS CH AUTKRED Klvrr Frth and the Tabor XiX Take Carfro at Portland. FYank Waterhous A Co., agents, have placed two steamships on the llM for Portland loading. The British steamer Iilver Forth, now at San Francisco, will arrive here before the first of May and will load a full cargo of lumber for Boca, Panama. The Norwegian steamship Tabor, which is now en rout from Norfolk for San Francisco. will come here Jind take a mixed cargo out for the Orient. The steamships are considerably larger than the ordinary tramps which visit the Coast ports. The River Forth measures net tons and the Tabor is listed at net tons.
