TACOMA, Wash., Oct. 5. (Special.) Charles Turner Is behind the bars of the jail on a charge of embezzling J2S0 from the lodge of Foresters of America at Wilkeson, of -which he was treasurer. Ac cording to his confession, made to Deputy Sheriff Gregory, "who arrested him, his peculations began with $35, In January last. He took the money and went on a spree. After he had sobered up he took $50 more, and was drunk for several days. This ho kept up from month to month, until he had used up $280.
