Tho platform laid down by the Committee,
upon which tho primary operation! of tho Un
ion men nre to bo hud, Ii one upon which all
Union men cau rally with a will and upon
which they may bo certain of nn ultimate tri
umph. Whoever is for maintaining tho Union
by all rightful and effective meani will partici
pate in the primary conventions of the Union
party, mid accept tho action of the National
Convention ai the basis of further co-operation
for tho complete mppression of tho rebellion
and it! procuring cause. Upon tho unity and
harmony of tlio friends of tho Union in the
next 'residential election, must depend tho

divided, tho Union must fall; if they are unit
ed, tflto Union will itiind. Most heartily desir
ing the triumph of tlio Union came both over
rebels in arms and traitors iu peace garments,
we sincerely hnpo that no brand of discord will

pediment in the way of inocesi. Many, how
ever, may do so by mistake. Designing and
mistaken men, therefore, should not be trusted
