to receive public comment to inform the Port Commission on
community needs, sentiment, and priorities for the development of
its 2020-2026 Strategic Business Plan, the guiding policy document
for the Port. There will be a brief presentation about the project, then
attendees will have multiple opportunities to share information, ask
questions, and provide feedback on project choices.

revived “Knit Night” event at her shop, located at 11 Third St. Knit Night was one part of the
weekly Locals Wednesday Downtown (LWD), which started last month under the auspices of
Hood River Downtown Business Association. Featured business for Feb. 5 is Sushi Okalani, 109
First St., with happy hour specials from 5-9 p.m. Also as part of LWD, Celilo Restaurant, 16 Oak
St., is offering two-for-one entrees, and 64 Oz. taproom, 208 Oak St., features the music of blues
artist Ben Rice. With LWD, parking is free Wednesdays after 3 p.m., through May.
