S OME TLC The lineup was a little unusual for these veteran players as a new lineup formed for the first time, as Tastes Like Chicken, at the Pray for Wind dinner at Stonehedge Gardens June 25. Mark Daly plays guitar, with Ed Dietrich on bass and Ryan Kol- berg on percussion. “It’s always nice to get together,” Daly said, joking that “Ryan is usually playing guitar or bass but he’s on the kit tonight, he’s multi-talented and, of course, I hate him!” Daly and Di- etrich have also played together in the band Hop Trip Stumble Fall. The Pray For Wind event was sponsored by Columbia Gorge Windsurfing Associat8ion (hence the band’s backdrop) with proceeds sup- porting CGWA youth programs. ‘Kool Stuff’ at River City July 11 Photo by Kirby Neumann-Rea Paul Thompson Portland alternative rock band Kool Stuff Katie has a show scheduled for Saturday, July 11, at the River City Saloon.
