The History Museum of Hood River County is having a Father’s Day Celebration with fun activities for dads and kids to do together: terra cotta pot painting and seed planting, vegetable car racing, cornhole tourna- ment, giant Jenga, and scavenger hunts. The new exhibi- tion “Outdoor Recreation: The Heart of Hood River County,” is perfect for fathers and kids alike. See the first generation of wind surfing boards, aka the “Darby Board,” as well as a sail boat specially designed for kids. Elks golf tournament June 27 Hood River Elks Lodge No. 1507 presents its 18th annual Charity Golf Tournament June 27 at Indian Creek Golf Course. Registration begins at 1:45 p.m. Entry fee is $320 per team or $80 per player. This is an 18 hole scramble, shot gun start tournament.
