Other Proceedings The plat of the Mclrwin Tracts presented by Angell & Fisher, was approved. The plat of East Wlnans Addition, presented by Reed & Henderson, was approved. In the matter of the petition of A. O. Adams and others for a public road along the Columbia river, it ap pearing to the court that the Viewers' Report had not been' filed for the reason that the District Attorney was holding court at Prineville and there fore unable to be present to assist in preparing the report. In the matter of the county road pe titioned for by W. E. Clark and others, it appears that the county surveyor has been engaged elsewhere at the instance of the county and has therefore been unable to survey the proposed road. It is ordered that on Monday, May 12, 1913, or within five days thereafter, be fixed as the time viewing and surveying the proposed road. The petition of- O. Fredenburg and others for a county road is denied for the reason that; petitioners failed to pay the damages allowed by the Board of Viewers. A temoprary right of way Is grant ed to the Mt. I'pon opening the bids for the con struction of a wagon bridge of Hood River near Wlnans, it appeared that the bid of H. K. Johnson was the lowest and best bid therefor, and the contract wag awarded to said John son. The price of the bridge, com plete, to be $1SS3. The county courc agreed to pay Wil son Fike $200 when a deed is execu ted to the county for a strip of land to be used as a public road In ap proaching Neal Creek bridge.
