Wolfard of White Salmon was an Interested spectator at the ball game here Sunday. J. W. Morton came up from Salem Saturday, where he has been staying for sometime with his mother. Walter Moore stopped off the train Saturday to say hello to a few friends at the depot. Mr. Moore was on his way to Moro. Mr. and Mrs. J. L. I'elrrounet of the Upper Valley, who had not been to Hood River since February, were Saturday and Sunday visitors here. Mrs. C. B. (Jove, who has leeu teaching school at M osier during the the past winter has completed her duties there and removed to Hood River for the summer. A large party of Hood River people spent Sunday and Monday at Trout Lake. Among them were Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Hellbronner, Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Osborn, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Derby and Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Smith. A. Whitehead has completed refit ting the box factory for bis feed busi ness and Is Installed In his new juarters. He now has much more room than formerly and will le able to carry a much larger stock of all kinds of feed, hay and other things In his line. The unsightly wooden awning In front of Cram's store has been re moved and a cement sidewalk will shortly le laid In front of the store.
