NW Natural
customers
to receive
credits
ASTORIA 4 NW Natural customers were
set to receive a credit on their bills in January,
February and March to reduce energy costs
during the winter months.
The credits, totaling more than $40 million,
are a result of NW Natural9s pipeline capacity
management and use of the company9s under-
ground natural gas storage facility.
The average residential customer can
expect a credit of nearly $13 a month, which
is approximately a 13% savings on their aver-
age bill for the months of January, February
and March.
The average small commercial customer
can expect a credit of about $60 a month,
according to the company, which is an esti-
mated 16% savings per month over that same
time period.
This is the 19th year NW Natural has cred-
ited customers.
Wauna Credit Union opens
new branch in Astoria
ASTORIA 4 Wauna Credit Union has opened a
new, commercial branch in Astoria.
The two story 16-oïce, building is located at
595 Marine Drive.
Wauna has been a part of onancial services
ofered in Clatsop County since the 1970s and out-
grew the company9s building in Uniontown.
<The new Astoria branch is a state-of-art build-
ing that includes today9s most up-to-date onan-
cial technology to better serve our members-own-
ers,= said Robert Blumberg, Wauna9s president and
CEO. <I9m impressed by its modern look, local
décor, and the same great, welcoming, and home-
town feel.=
The branch hosts over 6,800 of the credit union9s
more than 24,000 members. The branch employees
a staf of more than 30.
Wauna worked closely with local contractor
teams and utilized local materials and resources
including signage, landscaping and general
construction.

nity to reciprocate (and) provide a new facility, new

The credit union is planning two additional
buildings in Scappoose and Seaside in the next few
years.

TLC shares 2021

SEAVIEW, Wash. 4 Columbia Steel &
Welding Supply has opened in Seaview.
The business features metal sales, welding,
fabrication and repair, welding supplies and por-
table welding and repair.
Columbia Steel & Welding Supply has
served the North Coast since 2001, with a loca-
tion also in Astoria.
The new Seaview location is located at 3406
Pacioc Way in Seaview.
TLC, a division of Fibre Federal Credit Union,
serves 11 counties in Oregon and Washington with
onancial services and various community support
projects.
In 2021, the credit union donated $165,478 to
more than 130 organizations across its service areas,
in addition to donations of branded items for various
events.
The credit union also allotted donation budgets to
individual departments. Staf utilized donation funds
of over $3,000 to give back to local organizations.
Additionally, 107 TLC volunteers impacted 42
events, contributing over 1,425 hours, supporting
82 organizations across the credit union9s service
areas throughout the year.
