BUSINESS NEWS 14 • MARCH 2022 NW Natural customers to receive credits ASTORIA 4 NW Natural customers were set to receive a credit on their bills in January, February and March to reduce energy costs during the winter months. The credits, totaling more than $40 million, are a result of NW Natural9s pipeline capacity management and use of the company9s under- ground natural gas storage facility. The average residential customer can expect a credit of nearly $13 a month, which is approximately a 13% savings on their aver- age bill for the months of January, February and March. The average small commercial customer can expect a credit of about $60 a month, according to the company, which is an esti- mated 16% savings per month over that same time period. This is the 19th year NW Natural has cred- ited customers. Wauna Credit Union opens new branch in Astoria ASTORIA 4 Wauna Credit Union has opened a new, commercial branch in Astoria. The two story 16-oïce, building is located at 595 Marine Drive. Wauna has been a part of onancial services ofered in Clatsop County since the 1970s and out- grew the company9s building in Uniontown.
