Looking to learn about regional authors
and books? Join Coast Weekend for a
monthly book discussion, featuring local
authors.
Each event features a live video inter-
view with an author, followed by a Q&A
session for attendees to ask the author
questions.
At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, author Tamara
Kaye Sellman will discuss her book “Inten-
tion Tremor,” which features poetry and
prose about living with multiple sclerosis.
On May 5, author Brooke Smith will
discuss her book “The Keeper of Wild
Words.” Smith is a poet and children’s
book author who lives in Bend. Her book
tells the story of a grandmother and grand-
daughter who explore nature and language
together.
On June 2 at 7 p.m., Astoria

cuss her book “The Man Who
Whistled, The Woman Who
Wished: A Polish-Canadian
