Join Coast Weekend for a monthly book discussion, featuring local authors. Each event features a live video inter- view with an author, followed by a Q&A session for attendees to ask the author questions. At 6 p.m. on Wednesday, author Tamara Kaye Sellman will discuss her book “Inten- tion Tremor,” which features poetry and prose about living with multiple sclerosis. On May 5, author Brooke Smith will discuss her book “The Keeper of Wild Words.” Smith is a poet and children’s book author who lives in Bend. Her book tells the story of a grandmother and grand- daughter who explore nature and language together. On June 2 at 7 p.m., Astoria author Florence Sage will dis- cuss her book “The Man Who Whistled, The Woman Who Wished: A Polish-Canadian Story,” which is a poetry collec- tion inspired by her family.
