C11 THE ASTORIAN • TuESdAy, JuNE 18, 2019 16tH AnNuAl RuNnInG oF tHe TrOlLs Come wake up with the Trolls for a fun run Saturday morning, June 22, through the beautiful Olney countryside. The run/walk is a great way to support your local youth through scholarships and to burn a few extra calories before enjoying all the deli- cious foods at the festival! Our very own resident troll will be on hand to cheer or chase depending on how his “beauty sleep” goes the night before. He will also be accom- panied by a little Swedish girl who will be ready to hand out bottles of water when you are feeling parched! Troll attire or any other Scandina- vian outfits are encouraged but not required. So put on your running/walking shoes and come have some fun! A big thanks to our sponsors Columbia Memorial Hospital, Fin- nware and Loop Jacobson Jewelry. And don’t forget: all proceeds from the race go to the Astoria Scan- dinavian Midsummer Festival Schol- arship Fund.
