Kathryn Burr, who worked as the nonprofi t’s executive director from May 2014 to late 2018, was arrested by the Ray- mond Police Department in March . She was charged with theft in the fi rst degree, along with obtain- ing a signature by decep- tion or duress, and could face additional charges. Burr allegedly used a Crisis Support Network credit card without authori- zation for $15,000 in gam- bling purchases, accord- ing to police . A November audit revealed an addi- tional $32,000 was missing from the nonprofi t’s funds. Around 7:30 a.m., Seaside police responded to a report of a single motor vehicle acci- dent at 309 Eighth Avenue. The driver allegedly left his car after running into a home- owner’s fence and started fl eeing on foot. Police eventually found the suspect on the 400 block of 10th Avenue. While he was surrendering, police noticed fl ames coming from a garage in the area of the crash .
