Imogen Gallery 240 11th St. The talented Ryan Dobrowski, visual artist as well as drummer to the indie folk band Blind Pilot, returns with his third solo exhibition at Imogen. For this series, Dobrowski focuses entirely on landscape, not so much in reference to direct place but rather the sense of discovery that comes from quiet and solitude within the landscape. 11. KALA 1017 Marine Drive Presenting new paintings by 14 Tempo Gallery ‘Palapa,’ an acrylic painting by Thron Riggs, on view at Tempo Gallery. Oscar Nelson. He has produced an abundance of abstract oil paintings on canvas, in addition to exploring with spray paint medium. Known throughout the Astoria community as the founding owner of Sweet Relief, Nelson describes his creative process as manic and wild, exploring the intersection of spirituality, imperma- nence and the mysterious. 12. Astoria Vintage Hardware 1162 Marine Drive We are excited to host Lonely Crow Forge as the January Pop-Up. David Fondren, artisan blacksmith, has lived most of his life in the PNW. After a seven-year apprenticeship, Fondren has been “smithing” in his own shop for two years. The pop-up will be fi lled with aesthetically pleasing pieces of custom metal art created with joy. 13. Paul Polson Gallery 100 10th St. Paul has moved an infl atable non-holiday theme into his gallery along with abstract oil paintings in combination with realistic images. Some recently painted work along with a few favorites from past shows. The back of the gallery will feature a mural in progress. Pier 11 (accessible via 10th Street) The Art of Food: A benefi t show for fi lling empty bellies, featuring art and photography of all varieties from numerous local artists.
