PROGRAM OVERVIEW PPR Showers Program Peninsula Poverty Response is excited to announce that following the success of our 2016 season, OWL (Peninsula Poverty Response is excited to announce that we have started a pilot program to provide warm showers to those in need on selected days during the month of December 2018 and January 2019. We do need volunteers for the Showers program. Project Community Connect PCC connects individuals struggling with homelessness with much needed services, such as medical, dental, and eye exams; Housing; veteran services; ID replacement; veterinary; hair cuts; a warm meal; and more. If you are struggling with unstable or sub-standard housing, please join us! One day. One place. One purpose. Connecting those experiencing homelessness with support services. FUNDRAISING EVENTS: Cape D Triathlon The Cape D. Sprint Triathlon was established in 2012 by Ilwaco Parks and Recreation to bring healthy, adventurous events to Ilwaco, WA. Now sponsored by Peninsula Poverty Response, this event shines a light on individuals living in poverty. Peninsula Poverty Response puts on local events advocating for those in need, such as Project Homeless Connect and Overnight Winter Lodging.
