Michael Allen McKay, 39, was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Equinox just after 10 p.m. on Sept. 24 when the car veered off the road. Police did not notice any signs, such as skid marks, of how the crash occurred, said Paul Wil- liams, chief deputy of the Clatsop County Sheriff’s Office. Results of toxicology tests for drug and alcohol will likely not be available for months, Williams said.
