Casey Schofield and Christy Hudak of Warrenton live with their mixed breed, Deuce Deuce, 6 to 7 years old. Jordan and Jenna Manchester of Ilwaco, Washington, love Alma, 3.5, their adopted Chiweenie dog. Siberian husky Thor, 1.5, lives with Allison Whisenhunt in Warrenton. Duke, 11, is a Scottish terrier who helps fill a hole in the Dominey family’s hearts after rescuing him from the shelter. Amanda Solum and mini-Australian shepherd Django, 5, live in Astoria. Rogue, 7, is a yellow Lab living with Chris Thode in Seaside. “He thinks he is hu- man, sitting in his loveseat.” Petunia Ophelia, 8, is an English mas- tiff-Rottweiler living with Connie Phillipa- kis, who says “She loves everyone.” Standard poodle South Jetty, 2, lives in Warrenton with Teale Adelmann and loves playing with his bowling ball. Boxer Melody, 9 months, was born with no rear legs, but loves life in Ocean Park with Debra Thompson and David Allen. Murphy, 8 weeks, is a Pembroke Welsh corgi living in Knappa with Natalie Ben- thin. He loves to run from the waves. Traeger Puck, 9, is a Boston terrier lov- ing life with Connie and Karalyn Heath in Cannon Beach. Maggie Mae, 10, is a yellow Lab, and Lilo, 7, is a corgi Chiweenie. They live with Kassondra Kost in Astoria. The Hemans of Seaside loved the late Wally, 13, and current pups, Ruffles and Poe, 2, who are Shih Tzu-Chihuahuas. Lab Willy, 5, “lost it when this dead crab rolled over on its back in the surf,” say Brent and Allison Ziemer of Ocean Park. Reece Pierson’s two Dachshunds are Lucy, 4, and Leo, 9 months. They live in Long Beach, Washington. Jax, 2, is a Lab-Staffordshire mix, living with Nicole Campbell in Long Beach, Washington. Percival M.
