ASTORIA — Astoria’s Second Saturday Art Walk takes place
5 to 8 p.m. July 14. Enjoy a summer evening strolling through
downtown, popping in and out of galleries, chatting with artists
and checking out their art, savoring refreshments and cooling off.
(Some locations open and closer earlier and later.)

Pictures are free but donations are
happily accepted, and all proceeds go
to a good friend needing financial help
with her battle against cancer. We’ll
also be raffling off a number of locally

In the Alcove, artist Karen
Story delivers a show exploring
figure and landscape in a mix of
acrylic and collage influenced by
her travels to Borneo and the Pacific
Northwest.
