Presenting paintings by Brian
Sostrom. Living in Idaho, Sostrom
grew up in the Pacific Northwest with
strong ties to Astoria. If any painter
can paint weather, he can, using open
acrylic on panel and creating mes-
merizing scenes of clouds and water.
These paintings are breathtaking.
240 11th St.
Linked by backgrounds in farming
and animal husbandry, we present
a dual exhibition for Kim Hamblin
and Christopher Wagner. Hamblin’s
series of intricate hand-cut paper
assemblages explore her ongoing
interest in mycology (mushrooms).
Wagner provides carved and painted
reclaimed wood sculpture depicting
man’s relationship with animals, plus
his interest in mythology.
