ASTORIA — The Second Saturday Art Walk is upon us, taking
place 5 to 8 p.m. April 14 throughout downtown. Check out art,
chat with artists, enjoy refreshments and savor the spring night-
life. (Some locations open and close earlier and later.)
1. Astoria Art Loft
painter Gustavo Ponce, whose work
has been described as urban street
style meets abstract expressionism.

“Bee-delighted” and “bee-lieve”
at Love the Bees exhibit through
Saturday, May 5. Meet Thom Trusewicz,
a bee expert, as he explains the
importance of bees through a lecture
and slide-show. April artwork features
bees, in both 2D and 3D. Artists are of
all ages and experience. The Art Walk
reception takes place 1 to 4 p.m.

Sea Gypsy Gifts will featuring pho-
tographer Kim Adams. Adams shoots
ocean scenes and coastal forest, as well
as old boats, historic seaport architec-
ture and wild life. She has a special
love for the PNW coastline for its
basalt formations, intertidal zones and
dramatic cliffs. Bags, pillows, coasters
and magnets will be available.

Join us on Pier 11, where we will
feature work from Wheeler Bag Co., as
well as live music with Two Crows Joy
starting at 7 p.m. Sip wine, shop and
enjoy the arts. WineKraft is the perfect
location to wrap up your art walking.
