Astoria Art Loft painter Gustavo Ponce, whose work has been described as urban street style meets abstract expressionism. 106 Third St. “Bee-delighted” and “bee-lieve” at Love the Bees exhibit through Saturday, May 5. Meet Thom Trusewicz, a bee expert, as he explains the importance of bees through a lecture and slide-show. April artwork features bees, in both 2D and 3D. Artists are of all ages and experience. Adams shoots ocean scenes and coastal forest, as well as old boats, historic seaport architec- ture and wild life. She has a special love for the PNW coastline for its basalt formations, intertidal zones and dramatic cliffs. Bags, pillows, coasters and magnets will be available. 2.
