Mission Statement: Demonstrating innovative leadership in philanthropy and fostering a dynamic community Vision: To be a leader in our community through donor services, grants, scholarships, and initiatives to address community needs Goals: Give, Grant and Grow Thriving communities are intentional—they do not happen by accident. A vital part of this is a culture of philanthropy: where making donations is straightforward, where investments are well managed, and where a variety of organizations work to support all sectors of our community. • We help build a culture of philanthropy in our community, including hosting classes on nonprofit leadership, management and finances. The community foundation works in the intersection between donor gifts, capital management and local organizations to help build our community. • Investments use “prudent person” investment policies.
