Meanwhile, the public can vote online for a People’s Choice Award winner Monday, Dec. 18, through Sunday, Dec. 24. The winning photogs will receive gift cards. The top 10 photos will ap- pear in Coast Weekend’s Jan. 4 print edition, and the top 25 will run online. Over the years, the Coast Weekend photo contests have become awesomely competi- tive, bringing in hundreds of artful shots that have set the bar high. Natural and urban environ- ments, color and black-and- white — the subjects can be just about anything (no shots that don’t belong in a family paper, please).
