Welcome to the new cancer center Thanks H to all the individuals and organizations that made this day possible. elen Keller once said, “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” What began as a joint initiative to develop a clinical program focused on cancer treatment in 2010 has quickly transformed into an innovative, rural/academic medical center collaboration, bringing world-class cancer care to our region, and great hope for thousands whose lives have been touched by cancer. The CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative officially opened its doors Oct. 2, 2017, and we are eager to welcome our community in to discover the next genesis of healthcare here in Astoria, where patient-centered care meets medical excellence. It is with great pleasure and gratitude that I invite you to attend a community open house to tour the CMH-OHSU Knight Cancer Collaborative and become familiar with the level of cancer care available closer to the place you call home.
