23 years In 2000, the dynamic duo of native Astorians Teona (T) Dawson and Paul (P) Flues II began their partnership by opening T. Paul’s Urban Café, winner of the Coast Weekend years Readers Choice Awards for #1 Lunch Spot on the north coast for 16 years. In 2009, they followed up by opening the ever popular T.Pauls Supper Club, embracing their motto “Eat Well, Laugh Often, and Love Much”. Supported by a loyal following, they have garnered local, regional and national recognition in recent years. Their goal has always been to treat guests as family, and it shows. years As of 2017, T. Paul’s Urban Café has added “Public Noshery” to its name to create a little more intrigue. “The Urban”, as most call it, is undergoing exciting changes on it’s Reinvention Tour 2017. As some people still think they are a counter service dinner café, which they have never been, they have reintroduced our “Full Table Service” dinner menu with many superb entrées and a lite side menu as well, including a “Cloud 9 Happy Hour” and Summer Adult Beverage menu. Taking care of locals fi rst, being consistent with excellent customer service (“no” isn’t an option), serving local and regional seafood and all natural meats has served them well. Both venues off er lunch and dinner and serve distinctly diff erent and aff ordable menus, which are available on their websites. They are thankful for 17 wonderful years and give the glory to a great staff - some of whom have been with them from day one: Donna Flues, 17 years (baker), Faith Harris Forster, 16 years (Waitstaff /management) and Mari Ramarui, 13 years (Waitstaff /management). We believe in giving back to the community with our annual Christmas Day Community Dinner and supporting local events and charities.
